I really don’t see him as an Alpha… Nothing against him, but he’s not alpha material. If he learns to control himself 110% then yeah but right now. No please Jeff… No alpha Scott. Just no.

I don’t know if he’d be a good alpha or not. I mean, he’d look good with those black or red eyes. But he has A LOT to work on if he wants to be alpha material. He doesn’t know how to make the hard choices that alphas have to make.

Honestly, yeah he saved Jackson instead of killing him. But look at all the other innocent lives that were lost or put in even more danger because Scott chose to not put a stop to the Kanima.

All those deputies at the sheriff station are dead now

All the other people that were on Matt’s kill list are dead now

Melissa found out that her son is a werewolf, so now she’s in even more danger than she was.

Allison lost her mother, which led Allison to seek retribution and go after Derek’s pack, which led to Erica and Boyd getting captured and tortured, WHICH THEN led to Erica and Boyd escaping and getting corned by the alpha pack. So it has yet to be determined if the alpha pack ends up killing Erica or not.

All of that wouldn’t have happened if Scott would have just done what really needed to be done.

And he did stop Gerard. But he did it by doing something I personally don’t find right. He used Derek. Which, I understand how it fit into his plan. And Derek has used Scott before… But it doesn’t make what Scott did right, even if he did stop Gerard.

Anyways, he used Derek. Scott made Derek think that he was fighting alongside him, when instead Scott was playing double agent and working out another plan. That other plan only worked by using Derek. It worked by Scott lowering Derek’s own personal worth and importance down to nothing more than a machine that is only useful in making werewolves. He didn’t even bother to treat Derek like a human being first. He didn’t even ask Derek if they could work together. Scott can’t just use somebody else’s body to get what he wants.

Imagine how Derek must have felt. Especially since he’s been used before. Kate used him, used his body, just to betray him later. Derek’s been lied to before. And then here we have Scott, who Derek was beginning to trust, just break him down even lower and just prove to Derek that people can’t be trusted. That’s horrible.

If Scott wants to be an alpha, then he has to work on how he plays hero and how he gets the title of being a “hero”. I’m just saying. Hopefully people see where i’m coming from without getting angry.

you’re forgetting the fact that this wouldn’t have happened if derek hadn’t bitten jackson in the first place

you’re ALSO forgetting the little tidbit where derek used scott to get to peter. what was it derek said? oh yeah, that he’d help scott kill peter so that scott could go back to being a normal kid. and look how well that turned out.

(in case you forgot what happened there: derek double crossed scott and killed peter to become alpha)

as for “making hard choices” there’s a quote from dumbledore that says something picking what’s right and what’s easy

i dunno, man, scott makes the RIGHT choices over the easy ones. like not killing jackson even though people were getting killed because jackson above all else was a PERSON. a boy that went to his school, that had a girlfriend, was on the lacrosse team, had a possible future that scott didn’t want to snuff out.

as for the melissa thing i really have no idea why that’s on your list because this is. this is a show. i mean did you want her to go her whole life not knowing what her kid is? scott knows it’s hard for her, i’m sure. i mean having your mom not speak to you because she’s scared of what you are? that probably sucks, right?

and look. i don’t care that you like derek. i understand why people like him. but before you rattle off about why scott wouldn’t be a good alpha, look at the whole picture instead of having tunnel vision.
